Soft Shell Crabs near Atlantic City area

I would imagine that Allen's Clam Bar in New Gretna has soft shell crabs. BTW they don't take credit cards.

I did call him. He was very nice, it didn't have any suggestions. He isn't selling to any local restaurants at the moment.

Dock's is great, perfect, just very expensive. Just wondered if there was some place else who makes them the same way, but for less $$$$. Thanks.

A round about way to get the info,
Call Dave at Absecon Bay sport shop. Dave runs this tackle shop and marina AND he also harvests, soft shells all season and keeps them alive in huge outdoor saltwater tanks, then sells them to restaurants, stores and the public.
We live west of philly but I will go there 3 or 4x at least to buy a doz and cook them myself.

I think Seagull1 by the words "A round about way to get the info" is indicating that calling Dave will perhaps find the restaurants he is selling to, so she can find who has fresh ones. That's the way I read it.

OK, I did not pick up on that, but a phone number to the mysterious "Dave" or a link to his enterprise may have been a bit less "round about."
