Redemption

I never see it mentioned on this board, so I figured I’d give a shout out to Redemption. Went last night and had a nice dinner with the wife. Started with the fantastic smoked soft shell appetizer, followed by an interesting soup of the day- roasted corn, crawfish, smoked sausage and yams. Sounds like the chef tried to use anything that was going bad, but he turned it into a great soup. For entrees, we both had a fish dish- mine puppy drum, hers flounder. They were both good, but the puppy drum over risoto with peas and a side of asparagus was the winner. The atmosphere was comfortable and the service was friendly and laid back.

It's near where I work and I've been intrigued. Should check it out for lunch!

Long overdue in trying it, was about to go 2 days ago but my group outvoted me. Thanks for the report, miss Chef Picolo's food.

Nothing groundbreaking, just good, comfortable, well-executed food.
