One Last Hurrah for Foie

For those of you interested, The Royce, in the Langham Hotel in Pasadena is offering thirty different courses of foie gras, a la carte, for the the last weekend of June, before the b.s. ban goes into effect.

Maybe they will also offer a petition to sign for those interested in repealing the ban. I signed one last night.

    2. Just made a res for Sat but this will also be my first time at the Royce. Anyone have thoughts on how this is going to be? Does Feau typically pull off really good stuff?

        I haven't been either, but yes, he is extremely talented & the Royce is definitely high end.

          my dinner a few months ago was disappointing...i liked it much better when it was the dining room and voltaggio was @the helm.

            Ooh! I might be doing this on Saturday too! I'm a huge fan of the Royce. Feau's cooking is a bit more understated than Voltaggio's, so that may be why he's unfavorably compared. But everything I had was very good and very well-balanced with a touch of whimsy. I think he's hugely talented.
