Adega on Elm.
Anyone have a recent view on this Portuguese restaurant?
I had a very good dinner at Adega in early May.
I started with a beet salad, and had the octopus as my main. My friend had some sort of Cataplana, a Portuguese seafood stew, which had a generous amount of seafood. Nice basket of Portuguese breads, including Portuguese corn bread and Portuguese white bread.
The grilled octopus is the most generous portion I've seen outside Portugual. It was at least twice as generous as recent portions at Volos and Mezes, and a better tasting version. It's garlicky version, but tasty.
Friendly service. Good choice for the area.
