Can you recommend any breakfast places near Bay and Dundas?

I will be visiting Toronto in July and will be staying in the Bay and Dundas area. The only breakfast place in the area I am familiar with is Eggsmart (meh). I believe the Gabardine and The Senator are in the area so they are on my list. Can any chowhounders recommend any other places? When I was in Toronto last summer the Eaton Centre food court was being rennovated as was The Bay. Are there any breakfast worthy places in those establishments? Or anywhere nearby you would recommend?

The Gabardine isn't open on the weekends. The Senator is close ( couple of blocks) to the MEC and is probably the best best in the neighborhood. breakfast in the food court is pretty standard with the mcdonalds, a&w offerings. there is a panera bread outlet nearby....

Thanks ingloriouseater. I will actually be arriving in Toronto on a Thursday afternoon and returning on a Monday afternoon. I suspect that finding a breakfast place on the weekend won't be a problem so I will plan on tying in a breakfast at The Gabardine on the Friday or Monday. I forgot about Panera. I believe they now have a location on Yonge - near Elm I think? I will have to add them to my list.
