I know that Heinz ketchup is sold so I would think Heinz soups the condensed kind still are. The Heinz condensed Tomato soup was what I used to make myself for lunch in elementary school every day. Latch-key kid from Grade 3+ EVERY SINGLE DAY and watched Johnny Jellybean in front of the tv...C'mon someone out there don't let me look so old....

I'm not sure of the soup, 'cause it isn't very obvious on the shelf when shopping. Tomato soup EVERY day? I had a rotation of vegetable (Campbells), chicken noodle (Campbells), and pea soup (Habitant) while watching the Flinstones (just slightly younger). Never really cared for tomato...

re: porker
Heinz tomato soup is my Mother's favourite, and it was always my task to find it; she'd use some for pasta recipes (baked macaroni!) and just plain old heart warming soup on a cold and/or dreary day.
It is always available at Jean Coutu and often goes on sale for 3 or 4 for one dollar. I can't say if they carry other types, as I'm not looking for them.
I'll keep an eye out for you.
