We recently had an outstanding, memorable meal at Le P'tit Resto in Bayeux. Innovative, fresh ingredients, every course a delight. A "don't miss" if you are anywhere near Bayeux.

Bayeux is basse-Normandie, though a lovely place indeed.

Perhaps the OP should be more specific regarding the location. There is abysmal food to be had everywhere.

i would actually avoid any resto on the quai Henri IV in Dieppe ... there might be a gem among the tat but on the whole the area is geared for not very fussy daytrippers ... the Bistrot Pollet on the rue Tête-de-Boeuf just off the quai Carénage on the other side of the port might be a better bet
