Bloor West Village

Hey Hounds - I'm meeting up with a few foodies in a couple of weeks and was looking for recommendation in the Bloor West Village area. We're looking for a dinner spot, with meat being the primary item of choice and a great drinking spot after dinner - price is unlimited.

Appreciate any feedback!

The only very nice sit down place in the area is Earth Bloor West which unfortunately made the mistake of settling in an area that prefers mediocrity over quality...hence the fact queens pasta and Dr. G's pack them in the way they do. BLW is about the worst foodie destination in town IMO and i'd either go over to Roncesvalles or West to Kingsway which from i hear has at least a few decent places

Earth first, followed by Bloom, which has gotten better over the past few months...

Not exactly in BWV but '1800 degree' in Royal York has really good steaks. Highly recommend it.

Kennedy Public house is great. Food is good, ambiance is fantastic. Bands some nights...where Sharkey's used to be

If you are looking for meat, my go to is always Black Angus.... just west of the village. Not sure what others think, but we've been going there for more than 15 years. Fantastic old school steak house

Earth (Bloor and Jane) has the best variety of meat dishes.

Lots of bars and beers across the street, south side of Bloor

Eat at Dr. Generosity. Big portions. Tasty food.

For drinks after dinner, ask the staff. For a standard pub, MacKenzie's isn't far away. It's just a bit East. Probably a 7 minute walk.
