The restaurant is under new ownership. Fresh food, new look. We will keep you updated here. As of now, we are getting the new designs from architect and transferring the liquor license. Keep checking for updates. Hoping to open by the end of June!!

We went to 21 South last Wed. and was hoping that it would a good place for us after our Wed. Night skins game at Golf Club. It was horrible. The service was extremely slow which for the first week you can somewhat understand, but the quality of the food was not good at all. My three buddies ordered hamburgers which weren't cooked the way they requested and from what they said was tasteless. They said it tasted more like a turkey burger "DRY" and more filler than meat. I rodered the grilled chicken with prosciutto and cheese. It wasn;t prosciutto as i have never seen it in a square. The manager and chef came over to apologize for the slow delivery of the food, but our minds were made up. We will go back to our regular place and stay away from here. You would think that in the first week the food would be great as you need to make a good first impression.

Went to 21 South this past Friday night. Let me rephrase that...TRIED to get in to 21 South this past Friday night. They were having a Dueling Piano's entertainment night and the placed was so crowded we couldn't even get to the bar for a drink, much less get a table. Left after 10 minutes without being able to get to the bar.
After the review from td57, I'm not sure if I want to attempt another try.
        We'll see.

Had a very good burger there, cooked as ordered and sweet potato fries were good.
I was hoping for a Craft Beer selection, but was disappointed with their beer choices.
            The usual adjunct watery lagers.
They have a cell phone booster inside. That is very nice, since that area has no Verizon tower for miles.

We've been back twice since our first visit.
They have a new chef that is doing a great job. This is in contrast to the first chef that exaggerated his qualifications and seemed to be in the weeds most nights.

Had a clam & mussel appetizer to start. While the shellfish fish was very fresh, the wine butter sauce could've been better.
Seemed like it was artificially thickened with something.

For our second visit we both had burgers. They were large and cooked as ordered, got them with non-greasy sweet potato fries.

We had the tuna entrees on our third visits. One was sesame crusted and the other blackened.
Both were perfectly cooked with garlic mashed and a veg as sides.

This place can be a 'keeper' if they get a few rotating Craft Beer taps, tweak a few items and pay attention to detail.
