Need recs in Amman, please

Hello Chowhounders,

I'm in Amman for a couple of days and would love some recs for Indian or Indonesian or Malaysian food here. I have had some wonderful Lebanese food here, but would like to try something different. I'm wide open, but traveling with a group of eight. Thanks so much!

The old fashioned family owned, but newly updated Hisham Hotel near the Embassies area (around 3 or 4th circle) had really good food. Otherwise, I thought the street food and the dessert shops were very good for casual dining. http://hishamhotel.com.jo/index.php?o...
