Lao Lanexang Market Smith St Providence & Lucky Garden Smith St. N. Providence

After a long absence we are going to be in the providence area this coming weekend. Wondering:

A) Is Lao Lanexang Market open again after the fire/remodelling? If so do they still carry their homemade Lao sausage?

B) Is the dim sum at Lucky Garden still on form?

The market is open and looks good. Not sure about the sausage.

To my unsophisticated, vis a vis dim sum, palate, Lucky Garden remains as good as ever.

Thanks for the info. That little market was such a gem, I was so sorry when they closed, glad they were able to re-open. BTW, if you like grilled sausage, their home-made Lao sausage is soooo good. They used to get it in on Saturdays.

Lucky Garden is another wonderful little place, there aren't many restaurants in new England that made/make that quality of dim sum treats. We are looking forward to trying it again.
