early planning for 2013 Tulane graduation

Apparently, you have to plan extremely early for Tulane graduation weekend. This would be the May 18th, 2013. Other parents are already getting hotel reservations and planning meals. Any ideas as to a place were about 20-30 could gather for dinner? My husband has been talking about Antoine's but I really don't know. French Quarter would be preferred but would consider other parts of town. Would probably want to keep it to $60-75 per person. Have never had to do anything like this before. Any advise would be helpful

  1. I'd try the Calcasieu Rooms, chef Donald Link's private-dining venue above Cochon restaurant. Here's the website: http://calcasieurooms.com/menus.html Great food, a variety of room sizes. You choose a preset menu & beverages, so it's all designed for easy group dining.

    1. Muriel's would be my choice.

      Muriel's @ 801 Chartres St., New Orleans, LA. 504 - 568 - 1885.
