Shelf Life of Cucumber and Other Fresh Juices?

I've just started enjoying combining cuke juice w/ seltzer and lime juice and ginger syrup. What should I expect for a refrig. shelf life for the cuke juice? Same for carrot juice? Thx much.

    Your cucumber seltzer sounds so refreshing!

    Fresh = just juiced?

    If so, I wouldn't keep anything past half a day, a day at most depending on the variety. With carrot juice I can taste a huge difference between drinking it immediately and drinking it half an hour later.

    Store excess in an opaque container in the fridge. Try to use a container that limits exposure to air. Light, air and heat all deteriorate fresh, raw juice and decrease the nutritional value. Oxidized juice is unappealing and has lost much of it's nutrients.

    I have had better luck freezing excess. I freeze in ice cube trays. I can add them to smoothies, toss into a pot of soup, etc.

      really? use it up in 1/2 day when kept refrigerated?Last week, I kept it refrigerated 3 or 4 days and noticed no flavor difference. Do love your freezing suggestion anyway> instead of putting sliced cuke in seltzer, put cuke ice cubes-Yes!

        3 - 4 days for the carrot or cuke? I can see the cuke holding up, but carrot always seems to change very quickly for me.

        I come to juicing from a health food store's pov - so suspect that influences my take on it.

        Once my cucumbers start producing I'll have to try your concoction!
