Recommendation: Upscale resto with casual vibe

My friends who are visiting are die-hard Joe Beef devotees. Unfortunately, Joe Beef is out of my price range. I know there are tons of places with great food and a relaxed ambiance.... It's just that I can't think of any right now! I did think of Buvette, but I'd prefer someplace that takes reservations. TIA.

Edit: Homemade charcuterie would be a HUGE plus. (Thanks, SnackHappy, for reminding me!) Le Comptoir is now the front-runner with fantastic charcuterie and a reasonable price. Plus my friends will get a kick out of seeing where they cure the saucisson! Am I forgetting about other similar restos?

Children of Joe Beef include Tuck Shop, Chien Fumant, Nora Gray... I would also include and recommend Salle à Manger.
