Pomegranate Molasses [split from Quebec]

I bought mine at a Middle Eastern grocer, but cannot for the life of me remember what recipe it was for! What do you all use it on/in??

Thanks. I think I bought it for muhammara, which we loved. Will branch out now!

      some add'l ideas from CH's!

On Saturday I roasted vegetables (carrots, leeks, fennel bulb, sweet potatoes and beets) in a combination of pomegranate molasses and cider vinegar in a hot oven until fork tender. 1/2 cup molasses, 1/3 cup vinegar. Foil the first 30 mins, then uncover for the last bit. Delicious.

It can work in a salad dressing - almost any place where you want sour with some sweet notes (and the dark color).

You can also use it to make this persian dish with walnut and pomegranate molasse... its my favorite! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fesenj%C...
