Pomegranate Molasses [split from Quebec]

I bought mine at a Middle Eastern grocer, but cannot for the life of me remember what recipe it was for! What do you all use it on/in??

  1. To make muhammara and as a glaze for meat

    1. You can also use it to make this persian dish with walnut and pomegranate molasse... its my favorite!

      1. It can work in a salad dressing - almost any place where you want sour with some sweet notes (and the dark color).

          some add'l ideas from CH's!

On Saturday I roasted vegetables (carrots, leeks, fennel bulb, sweet potatoes and beets) in a combination of pomegranate molasses and cider vinegar in a hot oven until fork tender. 1/2 cup molasses, 1/3 cup vinegar. Foil the first 30 mins, then uncover for the last bit. Delicious.

          1. Thanks. I think I bought it for muhammara, which we loved. Will branch out now!
