Thrill of the Grill? [Alameda]
I was walking by the sadly defunct Der Wienerschnitzel (where am I going to go for my mini corndog fix?) on Park Street and noticed "The Thrill of the Grill" written on the paper over one of the windows. It appears there's a restaurant by that name in the Mission -- does anyone know if this is an offshoot? And if so, is that a good thing?
BTW, Park St. now has a food/restaurant row (within five blocks of Park and Central) to rival any in the Bay Area in quantity and variety, if not always in ultra-high quality/"authenticity"
All we really need is for Hong Kong City to start serving dim sum. Maybe I should suggest it to them!

I don't know about Thrill of the Grill, but as an East Ender I can reassure you that your corndog fix can still be had at the Webster St. Der Weinerschnitzel. And I am glad you mentioned the situation in general on Park St. There are definitely some gems-like the pizza in the Marketplace that you were the one to discover.
