need covered asian soup bowls

My very sweet SIL is looking for 2 covered asian noodle soup bowls. Has anyone seen any for sale? We just need 2-not a case (which is all I can find, from the restaurant supply stores). I am in the Randolph area but she is in Manchester NH. Thanks!

If you or SIL find yourselves in town, try China Fair in Porter Sq or Reliable Market in Union Sq Somerville, but I'm not positive these places will have what SIL is looking for. Pick up several sets..y'all most likely find all sort of uses, not just for Asian soup/noodles.

Reliable Market does have them, though I don't find their selection inspiring.

I've personally never seen covered noodle soup bowls myself. Traditionally noodle soup bowls are just large sized bowls; covering a hot steamy bowl of soup might make your noodles soft. You might be able to find a large covered soup serving bowl designed for serving at a family-style dinner at Chinese market.

If you don't need them to be big bowls with lids, the only kind i've seen that are covered are ones used in Japanese cuisine. The big C-Marts (Chinatown) have a decent supply of tableware, but Kam Man probably has the largest supply of tableware of most Asian markets and has a nice variety of Chinese and Japanese style dishes too.
