Reccomendations for a nice dinner in Riverside area ?

My son is graduating from University of California, Riverside and we are looking to have a nice dinner for his graduation. Would you recommend a sit down$$ or $$$ restaurant that is within the 10 miles radius from UCR. We eat any kind of food, just want a nice dinner where the food is good and/or interesting. Please include specific dishes that are good.
