Clams in Lake George area? To buy - not at a restaurant.

We are getting ready to head up to Lake George again. One of my favorite places in the world. :)
This year we are on a tighter budget than usual and we are travelling with another family, so there are three toddlers. All this equals less dining out. Plus, we already know the restaurants are sort of meh... The place we stay at has gas grills all around. We figured we would grill at least two nights of our four nights, but something about just hot dogs and hamburgers from the Price Chopper isn't doing it for me.
I love clams off of the grill with some herb and garlic butter plopped in. I would eat this every day of the week if I could - and currently do it every Sunday at home. :) Although I am spoiled by the ones hauled in to my Queens greenmarket from Hampton Bays every Sunday, I am not expecting them to be that perfect. Just fresh and tasty. Good scallops and clams are a plus.
So, anyone know of anywhere in the Lake George area that i can buy a lot of yummy Little Necks to bring back to our motel? I am open to Queensbury and Glens Falls, or up towards Bolton Landing or Diamond Point. I like random drives through the area...so anywhere within about a half hour. I THANKS!
Pura-Vida Fisheries from Hampton Bays actually sells at the at the Saratoga Springs farmer's market on Wednesdays, 3-6 PM and Saturdays, 9 AM – 1 PM. That's farther than a 1/2 hour, but I thought it was worth mentioning.
Thanks so much for offering a response to this old post. I ended up bringing clams that I get on Sundays at the Jackson Heights Greenmarket. We have already booked our LG trip for this coming July, so maybe this time around I will take advantage of your suggestion. All my years going to Lake George and I have never been to Saratoga Springs. A great fish market will encourage me to motivate myself to get down there this year. Thanks again.
