NEW: A Spoonful of Soul Food & Smoked BBQ, San Jose - Anyone try it?

hhc Jun 16, 2012 10:52 AM

I read about A Spoonful of Soul Food & Smoked BBQ in the SJ Mercury Newspaper. Suppose to have smothered pork chops, collard greens, fried okra, catfish, peach cobbler, banana pudding, etc.

Cook is Lynda Atkins & she had cooked for her church Lily of the Valley Christian Center, Oakland.

Family recipes with roots in Oklahoma, Louisiana, Alabama.

Anyone try it yet?

Thanks for the news! It sure sounds like an upgrade from the pair of mediocre Thai restaurants that occupied this space earlier. I hope to get to try it out soon. Their web site is at:
