Best Seafood, Italian and Asian-fusion restaurants.

Need suggestions for great seafood like Brooklyn Fish Camp, Italian like Lupa and Asian-fusion like Spice Market. The restaurants mentioned are in NYC and have very innovative cuisine and I would like similar restaurants in Boston.

hi, I do not think that the Boston scene is as advanced.

We have Asian fish in the tank restaurants that are comparable to those in NYC - just comparable: I like them but would not make a special effort to seek them out. .

Neptune Oyster and Island Creek Oyster Bar are worth looking into for seafood. O Ya and Uni Bar compare to good innovative Japanese sushi in NYC; they are Asian fusion and would be interesting even in NYC.

For Italian, I like Rialto in Harvard Square (get the 1.00 oyster speicial on Mondays) and Erbaluce..

there may be a problem with over cooked fish at Island Creek; stick with the crustaceans if you go.
