Here's where I'm not thrilled with: Bahr's, The Clam Hut, Dockside, Sallie Tee's. Husband has a hankering to sit outside and have a beer and some great fried clams - waterside, if possible. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
Keyport Fishery serves some excellent fried clams. I've been eating them there for years and have never been disappointed. Their homemade tartar sauce and coleslaw are spot on as well.
Red's Lobster Pot in Point Pleasant. We get a hankering to do what you husband wants to do a few times a summer and simply bring a six pack and sit outside on the docks. The wall of hot sauces is an added bonus. The fried squid is also worth enjoying.
