Hitching Post - Buelton

Ate at The Hitching Post in Buelton years ago and was shocked that it was very good. Is it the same?

  1. It is still very good, but terribly crowded on weekends. Make a reservation for sure.

      Or go on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday night and have great burgers and fries at the bar. Delicious and lots less money than a regular meal.

        A good burger is gustatory art. I am not sorry this is America's primary contribution to the world's culinary explorations. However, when we get into the environmental costs of burgers, then again we can get a little crazy. Will this greater holistic awareness of where and how our food is produced and its caloric impacts change our dining habits in the future? Will we be the Lost Generation that knew what foie gras was all about? A Soylent Green tablet anyone?
