Have driven by many times, and the place is always packed. It's an interesting location -- near schoos, office buildings, industrial park, etc. Near some major highways, surrounded by several different towns, areas.
I know several people who have gone for lunch, happy hour, a bite to eat, etc. -- and they all have given good reports. The typical "pub grub" with their own twist of some items, quasi American pub grub, with a hint or flair of the Irish theme. Check out the menu.

I enjoyed the Englewood location, now a diner off of rt 4, back in the day. If memory serves they had great wings and burgers. out of all the places of their ilk (applebees, fridays, chilis) i thought Bennigans and Houlihans were superior. where in Saddle Brook are they opening - I probably would go check it out for lunch.

Any idea if they are reopening at the former Midland Ave location? There are plans to open a sports bar called Buck Foston at the site of the old New Brunswick location. But the town has taken exception to the name. A Buffalo Wild Wings replaced the one in North Brunswick, and Houlihans now occupies the one on route 1 in Woodbridge.
Prior to the closings, their menu was in serious need of an overhaul.

I don't know why, maybe it was too many Long Island Ice Teas back many years ago, but I seem to remember loving their nachos...

re: michele cindy
I loved their "Broccoli Bites".. have not found anything else that comes even close. These were little fried balls of broccoli, cheese, and bacon, served with a honey mustard dipping sauce.
Eh, I'd still pass at this point.. not something I miss THAT much. Just fond memories, I guess. :)
