Crawfish anyone?

I have a hankering for a good ol' crawfish boil dinner but I have no clue in where in Baltimore to have one. Is there any place in the reasonable Baltimore area that has crawfish on the menu? I don't care whether it's a sit down place or carry-out. Thanks in advance for pointing me in the right direction!!

The SW Waterfront Seafood Market has crawfish. Many vendors sell it already boiled, but I think one vendor sold it live, though they were very pithy and very close to dead looking. If memory serves me right, live was $6/lb and boiled was $9-10. The boiled crawfish didn't look great either.

At the Maine St Market only Jeese Taylor sells crawfish which are already cooked. I wouldn't recommend them

the only decent crawfish I've had around here is at Acadiana in downtown DC. It's not on the regular menu, but during the summer they generally have it on the patio.

If you are willing to come to NoVA...we now have Chasin Tails. That, along with Bayou Bakery and Willie's Po' Boy truck....I'm down in Covington with family and friends.

Crawfish isn't really all that popular, particularly given the popularity of crabs here. Have we had a real review of Chasin' Tails here yet? I don't recall one, just reports of its existence. It's really close to me, but I do most of my experimenting with new restaurants at lunch and they aren't open at lunch.

I've only had crawfish on the hoof once and I thought the meat wasn't as good as a good crab and more trouble to eat. But I guess eating crawfish is a food experience for those of us who didn't grow up with it, and just regular food for those who did.

There is a largely positive review of Chasin Tails in today's (6/15/12) Wash Post Weekend section.

Chasin Tails menu looks similar to Hot n Spicy Crawfish which is located across the straight from Woodley Park Metro. My experience at Hot n Spicy was okay nothing special you could tell the crawfish was previously frozen

I saw that article shortly after posting to this thread. I wondered if the owners, since their names sound Vietnamese, had that place in Eden Center for a while called something like Louisiana Seafood House. We had a chowhound lunch there once and had some crawfish served in a plastic bag.

Is that a Louisiana thing? Or a Vietnamese thing? Or just a thing?
