Looking for great Thai food in Tampa or Orlando area

JenBen8 Jun 14, 2012 11:52 AM

We just recently went to Lotus of Siam in Las Vegas & I am in love with Thai food now. I'm looking for something of their caliber. I know it's probably impossible to compare a restaurant to LOS. Any suggestions would help!

My favorite Thai restaurants in Orlando are Thai Singha in Waterford Lakes near UCF and Naradeva Thai near the Mall at Millennia.

No idea how they compare to Lotus of Siam, but I like them a lot.

You probably will have the best, authentic, Thai food experience here Sunday lunches only.

And y'all need to get to the Wat Temple early to get a good seat.

I took your advice on NaraDeva and you were right Lou. Had the Pad See Ew. It was the best I've ever eaten. Also love Sea Thai on E. Colonial.

Coolcoolcool! I hate to ever steer anyone wrong. I love that place, and the restaurant itself is so beautiful and serene, like a temple in the middle of the jungle.

The best Thai food I've ever had is Kombo Kitchen, it's a trailer believe it or not, but VERY good and VERY authentic! It's run by a woman from Thailand, her menu varies daily, and she is super friendly! Try the Panang! Each meal comes with an egg roll, rice and fried banana with honey. The potstickers are amazing! She also loads you up with free goodies (if she likes you:) Kombo is located on Howard just South of 275, they may relocate soon to the old Da Kine spot.

Sea Thai and Soong Thai are my favorites.
