I'm amazed by the selection at many grocers these days, but the one stop shop with every sauce selection seems to be a thing of the past. The great store in the Ottawa Market also closed.
As a tip though, a fantastic local hot sauce with an Ottawa connection is called Cooksville Hot Sauce. I've been buying it for years and it is my "go to" straight use sauce (ie. poured straight on top of eggs, pizza, chili,...). Comes in a range of flavors but the flaming hot Original is my favorite. The unique "Black Heat" is fiery and amazing as a steak sauce.

re: ottawaoperadiva
It is available in many smaller markets, I bought my last bottles in a food shop on the south side of Bloor Str West near High Park. I'd suggest e-mailing them for a list of stores selling it (cooksvillehotsauce.com). Good luck ! Get the Original and Black Heat as a minimum !!

The only place I can think of is Chilly Chiles. The owners have recently sold the business so they can retire and the store will be relocating to the village of Manotick just outside Ottawa. They used to sell items exclusively through mail order although it looks like they will be opening a storefront operation. More info is on their website here: http://www.chillychiles.com/ They used to sell bhut jolokia peppers if that's hot enough-;
)The only other suggestion I can make is to visit the farmers markets. There seems to be at least one vendor, sometimes more, that sells hot sauce. I'm not sure if any of them sell sauces at the level of heat you are looking for though. You can try the Ottawa Farmers Market at Sunnyside and Bronson, the Ottawa Organic Farmers Market at Bank and Heron, or the Main Street Farmers Market on Main Street in front of St. Paul's University.
