Fried Chicken & Beer Dinner at Coquette

So, anyway, Coquette has been stepping up their beer service game in a big way lately. They had a charcuterie garni dinner last month, are hosting a beer cocktail dinner for Tales of the Cocktail, called "Swigs and Pigs" next month, and THIS MONTH they are hosting a beer dinner focused on fried chicken and other summertime/picnic/fried chicken-y accouterments. Can find the menu for both beer and food and other info here: http://www.norainnola.com/2012/06/fri...

It's on June 26, and it's $60pp inclusive.

Their beer dinner last month was so freaking good, I'm even more super excited about this month's.

So, where were YOU at the one they had at Sweet Olive?! That kicked ass, though the pairing was champagne, not beer. But the menu looks similar, which is good, 'cause that was some rockin' food! I better reserve before it gets too late and my procrastination costs me...

It' was too expensive! There's a big difference between $100pp and $60pp when there's two of us going! Especially for a Monday night.

Tuesday nights, though, are the new Friday nights, so it's all good.

Yeah, it was pricy. Just pullin' your chain. I got vetoed by my ninny out of town friends for their TOTC dinner. Torn as to where to go for Plan B. Thinking La Petite Grocery, interesting menu/drink pairings, plus I rarely go there for some reason...

I like LPG, have had a run of very nice meals there. Sorry you won't make the Swigs & Pigs, but hopefully see ya at the fried chicken beer thing!
