  1. What I was told by person who answered phone at Hong Kong: "Same food, different owner."

Hmm, probably split up. I know Min Wong and Tin Wong split up. They have essentially the same menu. I was overhearing something in Phil Chinatown about the nephew or cousin of Sang Kee split up. I didn't hear the whole conversation, but I won't be surprised it is what happened.

    2. I had just ordered food last night from them and the girl behind the counter stated that either the owner or the cook was part of Sang Kee at one time. Based off the food I received, it is definitely NOT Sang Kee at all.

I ordered the salt baked squid, young chow fried rice, roast duck wonton noodle soup, and shrimp in lobster sauce. It looks very similar to Sang Kee, but no where close to tasting the same. Don't get me wrong, it is probably one of the top chinese places in the area, but don't come in and expect Sang Kee quality food. If you want Sang Kee, drive to Wynnewood or down to Chinatown.
