Lago D'Argento

Has anyone tried this pizza place on Hyperion? Apparently, it's owned by the Barbarella folks (but since I've never set foot in there, I'm not sure what that means). Looking for a place to take the family, good food, nice atmosphere and some sort of wine/beer/martini available.

thanks

Never been, but I'm always a bit wary when a restaurant styles itself as "trendy" and can't properly spell "pic [sic] up" ... or maybe that's just a trendy way to spell "pick". Who knows.

I think it's a "tie-po" since they spell it correctly in the red "stamp" like box above the fold. And since it says "Curb side" in front of both your called out "pic up" and the correct "Pick Up" I think there is little doubt about what they meant here.

Of course it's a typo. The fact that they know how to spell "pick" and then misspell it later on shows at least a bit of lack of attention to detail, no?

If some people are prone to judge a restaurant by the cleanliness of the bathrooms, perhaps the same rationale should apply to the website?

The word trendy gave me the "idiot shivers" but was still curious enough about the food.

Well, if you go, let us know how you like it, or don't like it.

It's pizza after all, so even if it does suck, icky pizza is still generally palatable.
