Bachelorette Party of 6 - LA Live

Hi There,

I'm planning a Bachelorette party weekend this August and am looking for a good dinner place to start us off. We are staying at the JW Marriot LA Live, near the convention center.

There will be six girls, mid-twenties. My friend likes French and Seafood best, but I think the most important thing is that the food tastes good, there is a good vibe and they have good customer service to start the night off. Also, I'm sure the girls will want to be ordering drinks.

Any suggestions?

I definitely recommend starting your evening off at Roy's. Not far away, just a couple blocks north on Figueroa, they have an "Aloha Hour" from 4:30-6:30 with $5 appetizers, glasses of wine, and specialty cocktails. You can get your party started there and save a LOT of money! And their food and service is excellent.

I've never had the food here really maybe someone can chime in but Perch Lounge seems to hit a lot of notes ambiance/vibe you may want to consider. Great view, outdoors, live music on Friday, French food.

Although it doesn't fit the bill of French or Seafood, Rivera jumps out to me on this list. Good food, and great cocktails. Don't know if you'll have cars, but Rivera also works well since you can walk there and back vs. driving or getting a taxi (which I imagine is hard).

+1 for Water Grill. Wonderful raw bar, iced shellfish platters and fresh seafood.

Even though it's now more relaxed at Water Grill, I think Rivera is exactly what they are looking for.
