Just concerned they portion out the ATK (is that even on anymore?) cook's country and cook's illustrated content

No, it is not a good deal. It is crazy that it isn't included as part of the subscription price of the magazine. How could it possibly be worth almost $100/year?

$100 or so a year is beyond ridiculous-needless to say I wont be signing up

My assumption is that there are few regular subscribers and a lot of people who want one or two special recipes and thus are paying a $9 fee for temporary access.
