Good eats in the upper Pennisula of Michigan?

We will be visiting our niece in Marquette and then maybe up to Copper river area. We love local food and fresh produce. Small local places including bakeries, and of course non chain places!

I apologize to all posters here. I did do a search for UP before I asked the question and for some unknown reason there were no "threads" mentioned. Then I began to scroll over many pages and found some threads after I posted the question. Thanks

Absolutely no need to apologize. Establishments open and close on a daily basis and there are always new people joining the board that have a fresh perspective. Yooperprof provided a good start and I will try to think of some additions.
