Need a great dinner and classic bananas foster in one place...

Does this exist? My husband is a huge fan of the dessert, but I have heard so much about the "tourist traps" Brennans and the like, The Court of Two Sisters was another place that looked good. Does anybody have a best of both worlds suggestion? Thanks!

Have enjoyed a few lovely presentations of Bananas Foster at Arnaud's. Still has the best shrimp remoulade, IMHO.

If you choose Commander's, try the Shrimp Henican for an appetizer. I sometimes get a double order as an entree.

I agree, Commander's Palace is the way to go if those are your two criteria. I just went to CP ffor dinner or the first time and had a very nice time. Saw a couple banana fosters being made, which is just fun to watch just as a bystander. We sat in the main dining room, which I actually just adore, as much as, if not more than, the Garden Room.

Ask for a table in the Garden Room at Commander's Palace. Enjoy your visit.
