Kataifi dough around Long Beach? - moved from Home Cooking board

I'm planning a big fat Greek dinner for my dad for fathers day and really wanted to make kataifi. Anyone know where I can find shredded phyillo dough? Any distance, doesn't matter. Thanks!

Just in case you can't find it locally, and assuming there is still time, I have seen it on line. But just in case, shredded wheat (NOT minis!) make an acceptable substitute. When I lived in Turkey years ago, I could have made a fortune selling shredded wheat to Turkish cooks! I pinch the seams off the edges and align the biscuits in the baking dish, but many Turkish cooks just crush them and let the threads fall as they may. Now that I that I think about it, I don't recall ever having or seeing kataifi the entire time I lived in Geece. But we lived in a small town on the Peloponnesus where the food was great but "country." Sounds like a GREAT party!
