New location of most recent discussions list

OK, it's an improvement to have that list of new topics appear at the upper right of the topic page of a board. But once again, I point out that, as it once did, the new topic needs to INCLUDE THE BOARD ON WHICH IT WAS POSTED. The reader does not need to click on a new thread that turns out to be specific to a different geographical location than the reader's. And the same list does not need to continue to appear at the bottom of the page.

We're going to change those to be only threads from the board you're actually reading. That change is already in the works, so we're not planning to add a board name. It's just taking a couple of releases to tweak the feature correctly.

Glad to hear that - thanks. However I still think the old way of listing new threads (not latest posts) on the right side of the page, with board noted, was and would remain the best way to go.
A reader on a topical board might see that there's an urgent request for venue advice in the region in which he lives, and pop over there to answer, where otherwise he might not see it in time to be helpful, or not see it at all.

Oh that's too bad. I thought that new box was a nice way to spur my interest in threads on boards that I might not otherwise frequent.

is already a way of seeing all new posts. At busy times the 1st page only goes back 30 minutes. A smaller list of new posts on my 'saved boards' would nice.
