Worthy Philly Cheese??

We live in the LB area but willing to travel for worthy philly cheesesteaks! Not a fan of the true original with cheez whiz but if that is what is best, we'll try it!! C'mon folks, give us your faves!!

Boos is good, not sure about authenticity because never been to Pat's or Geno's but their rolls are Amoroso.

      Food truck, South Philly Experience!!!

Amorosa bread flown in everyday, meat is prepared correctly and all different cheeses.

No better place to grab a philly.

Papa Jakes Sub Shop in BH has great subs, including Cheesesteaks.

I have had my share when visiting Philly. Forget Pats and Genos.. There are so many other spots to go. I like Philly West on Westwood Blvd ( close to Santa Monica Blvd ) Kind of a dive bar feel. And the steakhere are good.. Tastecakes too.. Good fries as well if you like that..

Philly West's cheesesteaks are very rich on the inside -- a very good ratio of meat and cheese. They aren't gigantic, but they are also very reasonably priced, about $6.50 or so. Their fries do not appear to be the packaged, frozen type, so they are pretty limp unless you order them well done/extra crispy. Note: they have free parking in the lot behind the small strip mall.
