Spanish/Portuguese Market?

Aravisea Jun 8, 2012 10:50 AM

Specifically I'm looking for piquillo peppers and good bacalao. The couple old CH threads I found on Spanish markets in DC were 7, 8 years old. Any advice on where to go?

Have you tried - The Food Lover Market in Manassas VA or European Foods in Arlington VA I would call to see if they have what you are looking for

If the European Foods is the one at Pershing and Washington, I second it. I've actually been in that hood more regularly now but haven't checked that store out during those pass-bys.

A & H Gourmet and Seafood Market on Bethesda Avenue in Bethesda, MD, has all things Spanish/Portuguese. They are next to the Bethesda Crab House.

Their website has both the peppers and the bacalao on their website. Score! Thanks so much!
