Under $150 for two - Wynn, Mirage, or Venetian

PHXeater Jun 8, 2012 07:38 AM

Hello, I'll be in town next week and have my itinerary planned except for after the LOVE show at Mirage. We're going to the 7:00pm show so figured we'll need to do a 9:00pm dinner or so on Friday.

Any suggestions for good spots? $150 including tax/tip and a couple drinks each. The SO suggested Japonais in Mirage but I haven't seen the best reviews on it.

Any type of food is welcome, but no burgers!

Have you ever tried Raku? it is really good and you can definitely eat there with $150.

We're specifically trying to stay around the Venetian, Wynn or Mirage. We're seeing LOVE at the Mirage, having a 9pm dinner, and then meeting friends at midnight at the Wynn and don't want to battle cab lines on a Friday night or have a rushed dinner.

Raku does look great though so maybe next trip since we go to Vegas 2x/year.

Otto at the Venetian might be a nice choice. You should be able to hit that price point easily if you stick with the pastas, vegetable sides, and salumi and stay away from main courses (which is my preferred ordering strategy here anyway regardless of $$$).

Thanks for the rec, it fits in the $150 criteria so I'll definitely check out the menu at Otto. We're meeting friends for drinks at the Wynn around midnight - hence why we want to stick to those 3 hotels and are not looking further south. I know cabs are easy (been to vegas 10+times) but really don't want to suffer through cab lines just for a quick dinner.

I too would suggest Otto. A meal of just a salumi, a couple of verdure or seafood antipasti and a salad to share is very filling and delicious. These are the dishes Otto excels at.

I really enjoy the Country Club at the Wynn for dinner and drinks..
Lotus of Siam for lunch...off the menu..one of the best Thai ever.
Bouchon at the Venetian for breakfast and drinks and apps at the bar.. (oysters and champagne)
I've had great sushi at Okada at Wynn..
Chandelier bar at the Cosmo is wonderful for drinks..secret pizza place on the third floor for a slice to soak up some of those cocktails.
          Have a great time!

Okada appears to be closed. And no way we can get out of the Country Club for under $150 with a couple drinks, tax, and tip unfortunately, we spent about $350 when we went a couple trips ago.

We will finally be trying Bouchon for brunch this trip which I'm excited about. Skipping LOS this time around however as we've already done it twice.

Sad that Okada is closed..did that just happen?
I've gotten out of CC for around $150 with entree and drinks/tip for around $150.
Sure do miss Alex at the Wynn.
How about Delmonico's at the Venetian...Emeril's place...always had good meals.
Friends love Palace Station Oyster Bar...I have not been but look forward to it in Sept.
I've had happy hour at Todd English PUB..average..really enjoy City Center/Cosmo...Milos for the 3 course $20 lunch.
              Could never imagine skipping LOS!

Okada is now Mizumi. Same exec chef as before.
