How to cook this Japanese/Korean vegetable?
I live in Korea and found a new vegetable! Its name in Korean is nogak (노각) and in Japanese its ナツツバキ natsutsubak . The only English name I can get is yellowish overripe cucumber. It is just shorter than my arm, about as wide, and orangish-brown. It seems cucumber-like. Other than just treating it like a cucumber, does anyone know how it is usually prepared? Google is not turning up much. Thanks!
