Double Whammy. I just left a post about outside lunch with friends from NYC. But now I'm inspired again. I want feta cheese like they put on the salads at Ikaros. Fed up with supermarket feta. Help me find it. Thanks!

Wegmans has a great selection of different varieties of feta including french.

Feta comes in many varieties* so you might just want to call the restaurant and find out which brand they use.

Whole Foods sells an imported French feta that is both expensive and divine!

Dunno exactly what the flavor profile of your ideal feta is, but the Eden brand they sell at Trader Joe's is really fresh-tasting and smooth while still being salty enough. Definitely one of my favorites. It's sold in plastic packages, with green and yellow on it... I think it may be Israeli in origin?
