Louie & Johnnie's Cheesesteaks/Clams- Pleasantville,Thornwood location

Has anyone been to the new location? I passed by today and it looks open. I don't know whether it is worth trying based on the reviews of their Eastchester restaurant. Any feedback would be appreciatedl

Tried it today. Way over priced for a sandwich shop trying to be a restaurant. $12.95 for a fried cod sandwich that had hardly any fish and the bread fell apart. My wifes walnut pear sald was drenched indressing and the chunks so big we had to cut it up ourselves. The clincher was when I asked fot a soda refill for the $2.50 soda in what loojs like a 12 oz glass that was mostly ice and was told no refills. Sorry we are never going back!!!

We ordered delivery last week and were delighted. Sandwiches were a little costly at about $12.00 per sandwich but were first quality. We also ordered a few dozen oysters at $17.00 per dozen which is less than I can buy them for in the market. They where perfectly fresh and came with lemons, sauce and little bottles of tabasco. The kids liked the fried mac & cheese too. Nice people, fast delivery to Briarcliff.

We tried it this weekend and thought it was tasty, but very expensive.

        We tried:
        1) A steak sandwich with fries. Good flavor, not greasy.
        2) A grilled chicken sandwich. Nice marinade.
        3) An order of onion rings

Total Cost = $35. We took it to go and did not have any drinks.
