Fresh Garbanzo Beans
I was at the Mexican grocery store this afternoon and was intrigued enough by the fresh garbanzo beans in the produce section to buy a bag of them. But I have NO idea what to do with them -- or how to do it. Can anyone help me? Thanks!!!
just cook them over high heat in their pods with a little oil till they are charred a bit sprinkle with salt, Pico de Gallo and a squeeze of lime. eat like Edamame
Make green hummus.
Make fresh green Falafael with some Favas and the Garbonzos
They are great in Soups, Salads or as a side dish.
