I'm enjoying the influx of college students giving cheerful service!

It's early June in the philly area and oh my gosh, every where I go to buy something or eat I'm getting cheerful attentive service. I haven't done a personal survey but I attribute this to the lovely weather plus new hires glad to have landed a job for the summer.
Of course part of it is that they know they will be going back to school in the fall, but is it the same in your neck of the woods? The reverse is true in mid-august when the migration goes the other way and things go straight to hell, but what a breath of fresh air. It helps that the Phillies are doing well. :)
