Ok so I just watched the latest No Res and I must now try Laksa. Any suggestions of where I should go?

Looking for it myself, after trying some made by Satay Brothers in Montreal. According to yelp, Malaya serves a good version, as well as Penang. Been to Penang a while back for other dishes and found the quality has declined. Malaya was very good years ago, so that may be your best bet on the west side. Let us know!

Yes I saw tha and was going to try it at Malaya. I'm not sure when I'll get down that way. I rely on yelp a lot but sometimes you have to take reviews with grain of salt.

Yes, I've been burned by Yelp before. It's chock full of questionable five star reviews, but still fairly reliable. For a dish under $10 (I'm guessing), it's not too big of a risk.
