beaches with good food?
Hi,
My boyfriend and I are looking for a midweek beach get-away this summer, and we want to go somewhere on the east coast with good casual non-chain restaurants. We're both vegetarian, and if we stay for several days I'll burn out on boardwalk food. We're from the DC area, and often go to Rehoboth Beach - I love it, but this year I'm looking to try something different. We're willing to fly if necessary, so anywhere on the Atlantic is fine. Any ideas?

The 2 places that jump out at me are Cape May, NJ & Charleston, SC ..... very different styles but both great. Cape May has a great local dining scene IMO with a lot of good choices that are BYOB. Charleston's dining scene is well documented and the reutation is well earned plus Southwest flies direct out of BWI there now.
