Breakfast/Brunch in Downtown Charleston

I will be in Charleston for three days with my daughter and we both love breakfast.. I notice that there is a thread suggesting breakfast places but they don't seem to be downtown.l We will not have a car. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help.

Queen City Grocery has yummy crepes.
Caviar & Bananas has some lovely breakfast type stuff.
A newer find for me is Eli's table...a chef friend of mine suggested it and it is delish!

Where are you staying?

Start with Fast and French, Dixie Supply, or Toast for breakfast, High Cotton for brunch on weekends. If you're in the Historic District all will be in walking distance.

Be aware: the Historic District is downtown, but all of downtown is not considered the HD.

Sorry to be so long in responding. We were away. We are staying at the Market Pavilion Hotel and will be there Tuesday afternoon to Friday morning. Two breakfasts/brunches.

Brunch is typically a weekend thing. Both Toast and Dixie are very close. LaLa recommends Eli's. I haven't been, but she knows her stuff, and it's getting great reviews. Have a great trip.

Eli's is excellent for breakfast.
