Charm City Burgers and more

Just returned from a short stay in Boca. Really enjoyed Charm City Burgers in Deerfield Beach, their sister restaurant in Deerfield Beach, El Jefe Luchador, and Jimmy's Bistro in Delray Beach. I kind of liken the Charm City burger to a much higher quality Five Guys (which I like but this was a far better burger). Found the Charm City Burger (Cowboy Style) to be very fresh, good size, and beefy with all fresh toppings. French fries and onion rings were also very good. At El Jefe, the El Ray (shrimp taco) was by far my favorite. Also tried the Ultimo Dragon (Korean style taco)=very good; Al pastor taco=good; and the Blue Demon (fish taco)= just meh. One night had dinner at Jimmy's Bistro in Delray=very good. 3 of us split 2 apps and 2 entrees: zucchini flowers, chicken lettuce wraps, chicken milanese and shrimp etouffe. Shrimp Etouffe was the star; overall maybe not the most creative or dazzling but everything was very good.

Thanks for the report. Charm City and El Jefe are two of my personal favorites - even though they are not close to where I live in Ft. Laud. Too bad you didn't get to try the pork belly taco at El Jefe.
    Glad you enjoyed them.
