  1. ClarissaW herself posted a link a few days ago on a post about Lao dong beef noodles in Rowland Heights (http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/852093).

(Tone doesn't come across well online, so just wanted to make sure you didn't think I was saying your post was superfluous, just letting people know that one of the bloggers for the site also posts on CH.

    )

Wow, they've already got a ton of reviews up.

    1. Saw you got mentioned in LA Weekly, I knew you had eaten everywhere but I didn't think EVERYWHERE.

Don't care much for the blog, but I am much more impressed with your diligence and determination to try new places. I thought it was interested you mentioned Qingdao Bread Food as one of your favorites since I work at a bar down the street from it and pass by it every night on the way home. In fact one of our customers told us they love to eat there as well.

Agree...it was really great to read about the Cervantes of San Gabriel (and Beyond)!

JohnnyL, ClarissaW will not see be notified of your comment here since she hasn't posted anything on this thread. She may come across independently it if she searches CH for her username, but you could post your comment on the thread I linked to above. She should receive notifications for that thread, assuming she hasn't turned notifications off on CH.

          1. re: PeterCC

Johnny L was referencing Chandavkl's herculean Excel spreadsheet, not the new SGV tumblr.

            1. re: TonyC

Don't mind me, I'm new here.

              (Thanks, TonyC.)

Edit: Found the mention in LA Weekly, for anyone else who may have been confused by Johnny L's post (Anyone? Bueller?): http://blogs.laweekly.com/squidink/20...

            2. re: PeterCC

Hahah I'm here. Thanks for the shout-out Chandavkl and glad you guys equally appreciate his world-record worthy list.

              1. re: ClarissaW

Wow, even though TonyC's straightened me out, my misunderstanding of who Johnny L was addressing could have even been worse, as I just noticed the LA Weekly mention was written by you! :-)

                1. re: ClarissaW

Great write up in the LA Weekly on Chandavkl, which goes a long way towards explaining his encyclopedic knowledge. :) Looking forward to following your blog.

              2. re: Johnny L

Just to confirm for Chandavkl: don't worry, you haven't missed anything by not going to Factory Tea Bar. Unless you're curious about how kids in junior high/high school spend their time.

              3. What the…are these girls eating out ten times a day? Looks like they mean business and are gonna review every restaurant in the 626.

Has www.626fooddudes.com been grabbed yet? It seems everyone commenting here are dudes and can collaborate.

                  LOL. I'd read that.

(I wish we could eat out ten times a day. Not as baller as Chandavkl when he's in Vancover for dim sum though)

                  1. re: MonsieurKnowItAll

Actually, following their Tweets, I think they are in fact eating out 10 times a day.

Ah to be a college student in the summertime. :-)
