Ever eat at the restaurant on the terrace of Castel Sant'Angelo in Rome?

Is this super touristy? A colleague of mine in Rome recommended it but wanted to get other opinions since we only have 4 nights in Rome.

We had a snack there, as was said, if you happen to be there it's a lovely break but not worth going out of your way for. I think you have to pay admission to get to the cafe.

Totally off my radar, but I'd be very interested to hear about it. Is it open to the public? My feeling would be that it will probably be better for the location than the food....but let us know if you go.

I didn't sit but I did go in and get a water and a snack to go. It was a lovely little spot for lunch if you are already there but it didn't seem to be anything I would go out of my way for.
